Over, Under, All AroundIn the fall of 2021, Amanda Pintore developed Over, Under, All Around, an up-on-your-feet playground performance for 2-6 year olds and their families. Through the Lawrence Arts Center Play Lab research series, she collaborated with children and teachers at Ballard Center, an early childhood center in Lawrence, KS. In these research sessions, they explored all the wild things that might happen on a playground and, as a result, the production of Over, Under, All Around was built based entirely on their ideas.
The research, rehearsal, and production processes were done entirely outdoors and the show was performed for 25 audience members at a time. Amanda Pintore served as the lead researcher, director, and a performer on this project. Lawrence Arts Center
