Amazon Rainforest Tour

In collaboration with a Montessori classroom teacher, Amanda worked with 30 4th-6th graders to devise an immersive theatre performance about the Amazon Rainforest.

This show was entirely written, performed and facilitated by the students and brought audience members through five rooms (each a layer of the rainforest) before ending in a culminating experience.

The students also worked to design and construct the environments in each room to create the world of the rainforest.
